17 From that time on Jesus began to preach, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.

• At the age of 30 years, Jesus began his mission, but immediately after his baptism, he began to preach. A message from the Kingdom of God. From chapters 4-16, he preached this message only. This was his main mission.

• Jesus came to die for us on the cross. While this is true. It was not his main mission.

• It was important because of the fact God had the Kingdom as his inheritance to his children. Mathew 25:34

• When God thought of us first he thought of Kingdom as our inheritance.

• Redemption came as a result of our failure in the Garden of Eden.

• God created man and gave him these four things;

1. His #IMAGE – this means we are created in his likeness.

2. His #CHARACTER – we are supposed to be Christ-like

3. His #AUTHORITY (dominion) – God has delegated authority to us, men to dominate the earth.

4. The gift of his #PRESENCE. - His presence brings joy and man ought to live and thrive in it.

• This kingdom is of a higher magnitude; you cannot operate it with an earthly mindset.

• This kingdom begins with a change of mind.

• Sadly, witches consecrate themselves even for months and believers cannot pray even for a weekend.

• Believers need to be aware there are evil altars that work against us.

• Now I come to tell you that Jesus came to displace the Kingdom of darkness.

• There has to be a warfare. Elijah said let us meet at Mt. Camel and see which God answers by fire.

• We are ambassadors of a Kingdom that answers by fire.

• There will be resistance from dark kingdoms but we shall win.

• Our Father who art in heaven their kingdom come, they will be done on earth as it is in heaven …we are supposed to bring the kingdom down.

• Innovation belongs to the children of God. These are downloads from heaven.

• The Kingdom was the main message because up until Mathew 16:21 Jesus talked about it alone.

• In Mathew; Jesus asked them what do people say I am

• Mathew 16:21 _ Peter shows that the disciples had understood the Kingdom and from this point on Jesus started talking about the cross

• No one gets an inheritance as long as the giver is alive.

• The giver has to die first. And no one wants to leave his inheritance to a son who does not understand it, for he will squander it.

• The disciples had understood and now Jesus was ready to die.

• Acts 1:8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."

• Acts 1:8 - Jesus commanded the disciples not to leave till they received the gift of the Holy Spirit.

• These people were expecting a physical major general to liberate them from the Roman empire, but Jesus was speaking of a spiritual Kingdom.

• Mark 5 the Demoniac man was restored and contained after meeting Christ

• When a church is set up in a place it takes dominion.

• Note if Jesus was establishing the Kingdom it means there was another Kingdom.

• This means there is warfare in advancing the Kingdom of God.

• All other Kingdoms must give in to the Kingdom of God.

• If you have faith as little as a mustard seed, you can move a mountain

When I was a young believer in Zambia. I was praying along a corridor every morning. A certain man could come and ask me, "What are you doing?" I could say I am praying. As a few weeks passed, he stopped and I wondered where he could have been. I enquired.

Someone told me, that he was a witch. He had relocated back to his home country. His power was no more. Little did I Know the prayers I was making were wearing him out. Mark you, I was just young in salvation.

• God’s intention for us is to make things happen, not things to happen to us.

• This Kingdom is a Kingdom of power.

• This was to happen through the power of the Holy Ghost.

• Every Kingdom needs power.

• This explains why the super countries invade and attack other weaker countries.

• Now, in the spiritual world, we need power to command other kingdoms.

• The word is the power of God to salvation. This power of God transforms every person.

• The gospel is not a philosophical narrative; it is the power of God.

• 1 Corinthians 2:3-4 – The word we preach is demonstrated by power.

• This is a Kingdom of demonstration of power.

• Luke 5:7 This gospel preached by sons of God has power.

• This gospel is authenticated by power.

• Mark 16:17–18 And these signs will accompany those who believe.

• As believers, we don't go to look for signs and wonders; they do follow us.

• For those who agree with his word, there is a performance of healing and restoration.

• As an ambassador of God, power must be evident in our lives.

• This kingdom is about power, not arguments, you cannot overcome the devil in an argument.

• A Christian without power becomes a victim of the devil.

• In Matthew 14, Jesus speaks of seven parables, he told the disciples that they had been given power.

• There are different dimensions of power.

• In John 1:11–12, Jesus came to his own but did not receive him. But, as many as believed him, he gave them power.

• Power comes from knowledge.

• When you know who you are, you do not even fear death. Because you know where you are going.

• Know your position in Christ.

1. #Legal_framework

• There must be legal backing.

• The sons of Skeeva tried to exercise the power without any legal backing, but they faced defeat.

• Legal power begins with salvation.

• Nicodemus visited Jesus at night because he needed to be authenticated by a legal framework.

• When you are born again, you sit with Christ in heavenly places.

• Most Christians don’t know the power that is availed to them.

2. #Revelation_Knowledge

• You must have a revelation you who you are in God.

• You must know that healing is your portion.

• The seal of the Holy Spirit makes you powerful.

• Psalms 119:30 – The entrance of your words gives light and understanding to the simple.

• The more of Christ you know the more powerful you become.

• The deep state is a concept of power by association. If you are associated with Christ you have power.

• All authority accessible to Christ is accessible to you.
