Today I want to urge you to be intentional and avail yourself in places where the word is being taught. As you receive the word, you are being transfigured to his likeness. The word of God changes us for our good.

• Today I continue with shutting the door of not tithing.

• The tithe belongs to God, and he prescribes how it should be given to be a blessing to us.
• A minister said, “Some people don't pay their tithe because they claim they have no money until you watch how they spend money on other things, then you realize it is a spirit of greed.”

#HOW_DO_WE_GIVE_OUR_TITHE ?

1. #Give_your_FIRST_tenth .

• The first title shows the quality. Both the first and the last 10th are tenths, but quality is not the same.
• God accepted Abels's offering because it was the first. Genesis 4:4

Genesis 4:4 AMP

4 But Abel brought [an offering of] the [finest] firstborn of his flock and the [a]fat portions. And the Lord had respect for Abel and for his offering;

• God loves to be first. God loves to be prioritized.
• God says seek me first….
• The sacrifice was the first of the fat.
• Cain had no respect or high regard for God – this reflects his attitude.
• He gave in the cause of time – that means it was not first. Not highly regarded.
• Abel brought the firstborn of his flock – First in order of his priority.
• God is first in his order of priority.
• When you give God first, it shows your order of priority in your life.
• When we put God first, he will always provide for the remaining needs.
• Your salary or income is never enough to sustain you. This is by design because we will need God to sustain us.
• When we give the first 10th, it opens the blessings for the 90% that remains.

#QUOTE : “Where you take the first 10th is where you get your blessing. That is your God.”

• If you take it to the supermarket the altar worshiped there is to hurt you. The question is which God is it?
• James 2:18-19 – Faith must be shown. Faith must be demonstrated. Faith has to be shown by giving. Faith has to be shown by actions. What time do you expect services? What is your priority in your life?
• At times start believing at the level of where you want God to take you.

2. #Tithe_your_WHOLE_TENTH

• We said tithing began 400 years before the New Testament but at some point, God legislated it in the Bible in Malachi 3:10 – He said bring ALL – this means.

a) From ALL #SOURCES of income – from salary, gifts…

b) The whole tenth of the #GROSS .

• That means if you get 10,000 bring 1,000, not 700.
• The more the income the more people struggle with tithing. When we are earning less, we don't struggle. The higher we go the battle increases.
• This answers the question if I should tithe on the net or the gross. Gross is the whole.
• Giving is out of revelation; your understanding should be above the law.
• God says I will pen the windows of heaven and pour my blessing – that is gross.
• The government calculates your PAYE tax from the gross, so if you give God from the net, then the government is your God.
• Most of the questions that people ask are a struggle with revelation.
• Should I owe it to you from the loan? What is the work of the loan? It is development. Appreciate the God who provides.
• Businesspeople ought to tithe from the profit, but only if you tithed on the capital. If you did not tithe on the capital then, you need to tithe even from the profit.
• Genesis 14:18-21 – Abraham gave the title after victory on the battlefield. He understood God was his source of success. Not the might of his army.
• Tithing shows that you acknowledge God as the source of your provision, health…and all blessings you have received.
• When we give in church, the tithe is recorded in heaven.

3. #You_take_the_tithe_to_GOD ’S HOUSE

• Genesis 28:16NIV
• When Jacob awoke from his sleep, he thought, “Surely the Lord is in this place, and I was not aware of it.”
• The Lord is clear, bring the tithe into God's house.

#GOD ’S HOUSE MUST HAVE THESIS MARKS.

Must have his presence – a place where the Lord dwells. God's authentic power must manifest, and the sick healed and restored.

b. The must be fullness of Joy. – There is fullness of Joy in his house. His house is a portal connecting to heaven.

• Jacob found the presence of God and named the place Bethel, meaning “House of El” or “House of God”,
• Genesis 28:16 – 22 – Jacob put a stone to connect with the house of God.
• The people who do nothing in the house of God are the most critics.
• A tithe shows I am connected to this altar. A tithe gives you provision.

As I conclude this service I declare and activate all the blessings of tithing in Jesus' name.
